Sparrows Point Together Again - It Takes A Village
The company town was destroyed over 35 years ago. But the spirit of the people never died. In 1991, the African American citizens of the once segregated town re-united for a three day reunion. Some people had not seen each other in over 40 years. Yet when they came together again, it was like they never missed a day. "Sparrows Point Together Again - It Takes A Village" is the story of the town as told by the people who once lived there. A village of black people who helped build this country with its steel and who helped shape this nation with its love for America and each other.
