I was listening to Mr. Warren Ballentine's show and I heard a lady talking about she was in slavery up until 1961. I only heard the last 10 minutes of that show. If there is a way I could listen to the entire show I would greatly appreciate it.
Heard your show for the first time and commend your voice for being progressive and pro-action. You mentioned, perhaps not seriously, that you did not understand why we as a people cannot come together. I'm sure you must be aware of the "Willy Lynch Letter." He said that if his plan was properly implimented that it would be self-perpetuating for hundreds, even thousands of years…unless something happens to change it. You are a part of that change and sharing the contents of that plan and reading his letter to your audience may open many eyes to what we are up against.
Even Lynch himself said the negative effects could someday be stopped, keep putting on the breaks.
I have a problem and i am in need of help. I am a black women working for a chain of major grocery stores in our black community here in Atlanta. The problem is some of the people that I directly work with are racist. I am being harassed by my white coworkers and manager. When I complained about the unfair treatment to my manager and the human resource manager in Feb. I was told that they could not believe it and nothing was done. The pain continued until I could no longer bear it and filed a complaint with the EEOC in Sept. We went to mediation on Tuesday Oct 23. and of course the human resource manager lied and he was the only one from the company who attended
It is now going to be investigated thru the EEOC since we could not come to an agreement. However I am very uncomfortable at work around my white coworkers and my manager and I feel that I can no longer work there. During the mediation the human resource manager was just as bias there as he was when I went to him in Feb. Unfortunately I cannot afford to be without a job but at some point I feel as though I am going to have a nervous breakdown. It is hard for me to function at home and my family is suffering the aftermath. I am being represented by an attorney. Please read my email for I am in need of good advice on what should be my next step.
I have heard about the national blackout day to occur on november 2nd. my question is, why the emphasis on only the AA community to participate and not for EVERYONE who wants a change and EVERYONE who wants justice to support the cause? I know I myself will be a participant although I am not African American. I would htink that if we all united it would be a much more head turning number, don't you think?
Mr. Warren Ballentine,
I think your economic boycott is the ONLY THING that will bring social justice. Our current Congress has shown us that they don't care how many people protest the war in the streets, or send letters, or call to complain. To get your message heard you must get to the politicians REAL BASE–their corporate sponsors. Please make a
SPECIFIC list on your website of which coroporations to boycott and the start date. Keep boycotting til they change.
Never doubt that this will work–history shows it does.

Warren was wondering how to send money to the Jena Six Legal defense funds…I have a suggestion.
Mychal Bell's legal defense fund has a paypal account….mychalbelldefense@gmail.com.
Step 1. All the legal defense funds need paypal accounts.
Step 2. Go to chipin.com and get an account. This is online fund raising site.
Step 3. Create a widget.
Step 4. Point the chipin widget to the appropriate paypal account. That way you can avoid the mail and send the money directly to the families.
